Florentine Paanakker

Profile

Florentine Paanakker graduated from Utrecht University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Dutch law, before studying sociology at the University of Maryland in the USA while playing in the university’s field hockey team. After returning to the Netherlands, she completed her master’s in Dutch private law in 2018. Florentine was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2019, and started working at a large law firm in Amsterdam, where she worked in the Finance and Restructuring practice while attending the additional educational program of the Law Firm School.

In 2022, Florentine joined Lexwell and was admitted to the Bar of Sint Maarten. She specializes in corporate law, real estate law, and real estate development transactions, with a particular focus on Sint Maarten and the BES islands. Her experience in these regions allows her to navigate local legal landscapes with an informed, practical approach.
